All design projects are preceded with an itemized proposal, including guaranteed price commitments and scheduled time of completion. (Changes and delays in providing Bluewater with text and pictures are acceptable, but may delay the completion of the site.)

Payment is divided into a 25% deposit, weekly payments during the project, and the final payment when you approve the completion of the project. This keeps us on track and allows you to more easily budget the expense.

2. RESEARCH: BlueWater reviews what similar businesses are doing on the internet, including your competitors, collects your company and product information (brochures, photos, contact information, etc.) and prepares a 'Site Proposal', outlining the layout, features, functioning, style, and associated costs.
   (Time-line: 2-5 days after Overview, Meeting Time: 30 minutes - 4 hours depending on site complexity, Cost: $100 and 25% deposit on site development)
3. FIRST DRAFT SITE: BlueWater develops your site according to agreed upon specifications. Domain name(s) are obtained, if not done already. Site is reviewed with customer for First Draft approval and fine tuning.
   (Time-line: 1 day-4 weeks, Meeting Time: 30 minutes - 2 hours, Cost: 50% of site estimate)
4. FINE TUNING: Any requested changes are made, hosting services, online merchant accounts and gateways are obtained if needed, and site is set-up live with password protection. Site is reviewed with customer for Final approval.
   (Time-line: 1 hour - 3 days, Meeting Time: 15 minutes - 1 hour, Cost: final 25% upon complete customer satisfaction)
5. MARKETING: Password protection is removed, site is registered with Search Engines, any other marketing services are put into action, and site activity is monitored.
6. MAINTENANCE & REVIEW: On a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual, or as needed basis the site is reviewed, visitor traffic reported, changes in competition reviewed, Search Engine Ranking reviewed, and maintenance items addressed.
